Meet the Founders

We’re Gary and Nick LaPolla — brothers, CPAs, and the co-founders of L2 Accounting Group, based in New York.

We both started our careers at Big Four accounting firms, then moved into outsourced accounting at national firms, working closely with small and mid-sized businesses. Along the way, we saw too many great companies struggling with messy books, delayed reports, or just not enough financial support.

That’s why we started L2. The name comes from our last name — LaPolla — and the fact that you’re getting two CPAs, not just one. We stay hands-on with every client, keeping your books clean, your systems running smoothly, and your numbers easy to understand.
